Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) Requirements

All travelers entering Kenya are required to obtain an electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) before departure. The eTA must be applied for and approved online prior to arrival, with a processing time of at least 3 business days. It is mandatory for all foreign nationals, including those transiting through Kenya. Travelers are advised to apply well in advance to avoid any travel delays. To apply and learn more, visit the official Kenya eTA portal: https://etakenya.go.ke/.

Travelers arriving from or transiting through countries with risk of yellow fever transmission must present a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate upon entry into Kenya. It is also advisable to stay updated on routine vaccines and any health advisories before travel. For the most accurate and current vaccination guidelines, consult your local health authority or the Kenyan Ministry of Health.
